Let's be honest, Diana could write anything and I would read it happily. She has a way with words.
That said this was not my favorite of the series. It felt like the entire book was set up for what's to come but then left off with sooo many loose threads. I get that this isn't the finale, but previous books have left off with at least some things wrapped up. I'm looking forward to the next installment, but wish we had a bit more closure in this one.
I also found some of the stories/time jumps to feel a bit choppy. Maybe there were too many threads at once? We were just getting good in one group's story when we'd go to someone new. It kept me reading, but I didn't love it.
