Love this story! A western romance, but also very good representation and information on marginalized groups, how dehumanization was in the early beginnings of the US in 1850s, Manifest Destiny propaganda. Big themes of religious trauma, opening your mind after being sheltered and trained to fear those who are different than you. Spice level 5 for sure. The audiobook was amazing.
