Hmm....
The beginning was exciting, interesting, I was flying through the pages and really enjoying getting to know the characters and different POVs.
Got to a little past the middle and started wondering when it was all going to tie in together? The "story" felt like it only started near the end when it felt harder to follow what was actually happening. The messiness from the beginning that pulled me in kind of became way too chaotic at the end. It was hard for me to follow, and the payoff from the climax felt very...deflated.
I liked the premise overall and I liked Demeter and Steward's relationship, seeing how that grew. For the other characters I felt like it could've been better paced/spread out across the book for their conclusions to reach the same level of satisfaction.
