We Can Do Better Than This: 35 Voices on the Future of LGBTQ+ Rights by Amelia Abraham

hopeful informative fast-paced

3.5

I think this is a great book for allies or someone wanting a starting point for LGBTQ+ discussions. I admire the range of topics they cover and the diversity of the authors. All of the essays are very readable and short. They cover really important topics. Some are excellent. That said, overall, it didn't have the punch I think it could have had. I think several essays could have been longer to allow the authors to really get into things. Some were a bit repetitive and it felt to me like a lot of it was aimed at informing a straight readership, rather than getting into things.
