The Minority Rule is an engaging read. Muelle-Rushbrook builds an intricate and thoughtful world and illustrates well the social pressures of this relatable dystopian society. All of the characters are carefully crafted, with a special nod to the “Mrs. Bennet”-like mother of the protagonist. From beginning to end, this debut novel takes the reader on a thought-provoking journey and also creates intrigue for Book 2.
