I struggled for a long time on how to review this book. It read to me as a series of short stories, with time jumps that I had a hard time following and no central storyline. Going in expecting a novel, I had a hard time getting into it. But I do think it had a lot of potential and I would try reading another book by the same author.
Graphic: Death and Racism
Moderate: Death of parent and Sexual content
