The Immortal King Rao by Vauhini Vara

3.0

there's three timelines in this book:
- main character's past
- main character in america
- main character's daughter in dystopian future

the first took up the majority of the book, and i did not care for it.
the second was my favourite, but took up the least amount of pages.
the third started strong, then kind of flailed around at the end.

there's a five star novel in here, but i don't think the non-chronological plot helped at all. i would've just cut down the stuff in the past and had it at the start, expanded the time in america, and left the dystopia as is.

but that's just my opinion, man.
