I thought this book was well-written and interesting. The writing style captured the inside of the narrator's head really well. However
the 'twist' that was revealed about 65% of the way through the book is a trope I really hate. I would not have read this book if I had known that was going to be what happens going in. I finished it because I felt invested in the character and the writing was good, but it just was not for me. No fault of the author.
