This series was so well plotted! I feel like I so often read sequels scared that things are going to be tacked on or contradict earlier books, but this all came together so well. I'm excited to reread the first one now.
This one was pretty slow in the middle, and I don't fully understand how the ending was possible(specifically killing the maw mouth at the core of Orion but Orion surviving) , but still a great book and a great end to the series. I love El. I love her friends. I love choosing compassion against all odds. I love how she could understand how other people hadn't chosen it and she didn't always outright condemn them for it, but she couldn't do it herself.
