I loved falling back into the Grishaverse and this instalment had everything to make me fall in love with it all over again.
This has all the magic of the Shadow and Bone Trilogy but with the more developed and deeper feel of the Six of Crows Duology.
I really felt I got a better understanding of these three characters from experiencing their POV but also through Leigh’s more developed writing of their characters.
This book packs a lot of of action and tension into is pages as Ravka is on the brink of another war but through Nina and Nikolai we also get a bit of comedic relief.
