The Earl of London by Louise Bay

3.0

Darcy is nothing like Logan’s type. To his utter confusion, he finds himself bewitched by her. Too bad that Darcy has already decided that Logan isn’t the one for her. Can he change her mind?

After the Duke of Manhattan, I was looking forward to Darcy’s story. I loved the banter between Darcy and Logan. It was laugh out loud funny at times. Plus, I enjoyed it when Darcy put Logan in his place. Despite the chemistry of these characters, I felt this story dragged a bit in places. It wasn’t terrible but enough to make the story good, not great.

Overall, I didn’t enjoy the narration. Shane East’s narration was on point. I could totally envision sexy Logan Steele. I wasn’t a fan of the narration by Imogene Church. Her voices for the female characters besides Darcy sounded the same. Her delivery of Logan was inconsistent with the character.

I would recommend this book but suggest you read rather than listen to it.
