Primal Sin

I'm not going to get into a detailed premise of the book, but it's angels versus demons and a bunch of other characters in between. It's M/M, enemies to enemies and finally to reluctant, anger fueled lovers.
The problem with this story, was that once I put it down, I didn't want to pick it back up again. The subject matter was very depressing, (hate, lies, heartache) and the sex felt mechanical. Honestly, how could it be genuine when there were so many secrets being kept?
The main takeaway from this story is that war is pointless. Both sides tell lies to get people to fight for them. Thousands die for those lies. Rinse and repeat. I have zero desire to continue the series.
Huge thanks to my fearless buddy reader, Jade, for jumping in to tackle this emotional read with me! We'll find a better one next time!
This was where vengeance had gotten him.Exactly!! This is what I felt like telling the characters all throughout this book!
