A Fatal Grace by Louise Penny

2.0

So glad that i did not start reading the series in order as this was number 2 as i may not have continued the series after reading this one. The descriptions of Three Pines were over the top fantasy/perfect place and the people living there were a complete caricature. So much focus placed on Clara made it seem as if she were the main character instead of Gamache. I think that Louise Penny certainly matured in her storytelling as the series progressed. I hated the interactions between Ruth and Olivier in this book. I figured out CC’s killer early on and who knew as well. There was some interesting info about Eleanor of Aquatine but that was about it. I will likely go to the next in the series just to find out about agent Nichols and agent Lemeiux.
