I loved this contemporary romance retelling! The author did a great job of incorporating fairytale elements of the classic story of Disney’s Little Mermaid into this romance book. I loved following Ariel and Eric in this book as Ariel worked to discover herself outside of her fame and Eric’s journey to stardom. I appreciated how close and supportive Ariel’s sisters were as well as Eric’s bandmates. I loved how this book also incorporated text messages, tour schedules and articles throughout the book as well.
