The Pain Tourist
by Paul Cleave
3.5 stars rounded up.
It took a lot to push through and finish this book. I gave it 4 stars because I couldn’t give it 3.5, but 3 seemed too low. 4 still seems too high.
I wasn’t a fan of the multitude of storyline’s mixed in and the constant switching between characters without a “title” to immediately state who we were reading, but it was easy enough to figure out I guess.
The storyline with Perry was unnecessary and also unfinished, filler I guess?
It was definitely hard to follow and hard to finish but I’m glad I did finish it because it wasn’t a bad book entirely, just written weirdly with a bunch of unnecessary stuff thrown in.
