I very nearly gave up on this book. The first half was slow and I was confused a lot of the time. I have myself to partly blame for this as I kept taking huge reading break chunks so I'd forget the plot and who the characters are. But I hate leaving books unread.

I am so glad I stuck with it. It is so clever! The final third of the book was amazing and heartbreaking. Certain parts made me cry. The author's writing was extremely detailed.
