Do Not Disturb
by Alessandra Torre, A.R. Torre
Oooh, I am loving this series!
***Spoilers for The Girl in 6E***
Do Not Disturb follows our lovely psychotic cam-girl Deanna who, after the events of the last book, is attempting to live a sort of normal life by starting a relationship with Jeremy. Of course, she is still convinced she needs to be locked away at night, and she's still doing cam-girl work (no judgements here, a girl's got to make some money), but she's now opening up to the idea of being around normal people and dating Jeremy. However, one of her new clients (recently released from prison for brutally raping a young woman) gets a little too attached to Deanna, and decides if she won't accept his offers to pay for real sex, he'll just have to track her down and take it himself. Honestly, this guy is a complete and utter piece of shit, excuse my language.
I love love loved this book. It just had me on edge from the get-go, and I just devoured this book. It was great to see that Deanna was opening up more to a relationship with Jeremy, and how they were taking their time, even though you could cut the sexual tension between them with a knife (I was praying that they would eventually just bone haha).
The whole plot with Marcus was crazy. Like here we have a man who clearly doesn't think women are little more than a piece of ass for him to abuse and defile in any way he sees fit, so I was looking forward from the start for him to get his comeuppance. He was a total piece of shit.Good riddance to him!
Already started the next book because I need more of Deanna and Jeremy in my life!
