I'm hovering between 3.5 and 4 stars on this one.
Yes, I enjoyed it.
But some things grated;
~ Ten years of utter radio silence on a kiss that meant so much more between two best friends? Gael never tried to say how he felt? Despite a lot of family cajoling? Hmph!
~ And the way they jumped right in together in Vegas, despite saying they needed to settle things with Elena first kinda stung. She didn't deserve that. Especially as they'd waited so long already.
~ And I personally find amnesia storylines a bit annoying, but I totally get that's a 'me thing'. Oh, and knowing the safety protocols that would (or should) be in place to avoid that whole situation kinda spoiled that bit for me.
BUT I loved the guys. And their secret lifelong yearning. And how hot they were together.
There were some heart melting moments that had me feeling warm fuzzies.
So, yeah, I still enjoyed the book as a whole.
