I didn’t like the beginning of the book. The structure of it (moving back & forth in time) is not my favorite AND is not something that the author had done with the previous 3 books. Once that moved on, however, it was absolute excellent. I do love how the author dealt with the cliffhanger of the previous book. I also liked the conflict in the book & how the author didn’t just repeat the same tropes from the earlier books.
It wasn’t really til I got to the end that I realized that this is probably meant to be a long series (10-12 books, I’d guess). That’s certainly thrilling, but I do also wonder how the author will be able to keep up the suspense.
