Firekeeper's Daughter by Angeline Boulley
5.0

I thought this was beautiful, I've learned so much about Ojibwe culture and tradition, about the triumphs and tragedies of their communities and the strength and resilience of their people. All of this, wrapped in a fast-paced plot full of twists and turns. My heart broke several times throughout reading this, but the women kept on putting the pieces back together. Books like these give me hope.
