Time and Time Again by Chatham Greenfield

5.0

Oh I loveeeeeeed this queer, fun take on the groundhogs day trope!

I thought Phoebe was a perfect mc. She's a bit shy, comfortable in her ways and content with life, even if that means living the same day over and over again. I really enjoyed how Jess came in and 'crashed' her party in a sense, and shook up Phoebe's world. These two characters had so much chemistry it was easy to see how they got along as children and how sweet it was they were able to rekindle their friendship (and then more!!!! eheheheheh) over the course of their repeated days.

Jess getting Phoebe out of her shell was a delight to read about. I related to Phoebe SO much, and the was she displayed personal growth was enviable. I was rooting for her the entire time and that's probably because I saw myself a lot in her.

Loved the diverse rep in this as well, fat, queer, non binary, anxiety, IBS and other chronic illnesses.

Can't wait to shake hands with Chatham Greenfield next month at Love Y'all Fest and thank them for this wonderful piece of writing.
