The Rosie Effect
by Graeme Simsion
Funny and clever and full of quirky characters that I was eager to follow to the zany climax. Graeme Simsion is a master of dialogue, and I'm impressed with his ability to develop an unreliable character who is fun to follow as he gets himself into more and more social trouble. Simsion's depiction of a man on the autism spectrum--and how others deal with him--is spot on.
