The book definitely had some cool atmospheric creepiness going on and I’m glad that I took the time to read it - but I had to force myself to finish. There were parts that kept me engaged & reading quickly but there were so many parts that were frustrating and boring. I feel like it could’ve been better if there wasn’t so much time spent describing travel, the boxes, and dramatic monologues. Characters made such nonsensical decisions (like sure let’s leave this character alone after we all agreed they were in danger & then be shocked when something bad happens) it was just annoying. I doubt I’ll read it again.
