iztrkfliers 's review for:
Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage
by Haruki Murakami
Wish there was a 3.5 rating.
This book certainly gripped me - I read it all in a day. It was a pretty easy read. However, I can't figure out why I was so gripped - is it because I haven't read in a while? It's certainly not my favorite Murakami book. Still, I couldn't stop reading it, and that's definitely something to its credit.
Brief thoughts - strong beginning with a nice concept. As the book wore on, however, I felt that it began to get a little bit repetitive. More later, perhaps.
EDIT: A year has come and gone, and now I realize that I remember absolutely nothing about the book's plot, whereas when it comes to other Murakami works I've read, I can still remember what happens. A strong mark against.
