Nuclear Jellyfish by Tim Dorsey

2.0

I was hoping this would tap into some of the stuff that makes Carl Hiaasen so enjoyable--Florida, crime, eccentric characters. It certainly has all three of those things but it is just way to ramped up in its own hyper-activity and outlandishness for me. It has a few scenes that made me laugh but mostly it just felt like silly, stream of consciousness while trying to be as all over the map as possible. I will not be making another trip with Dorsey's main recurring character Serge. Once is enough.
