S. Legend continues to prove why this is one of the best hockey romance series of all time. The complexity of these characters will never disappoint. AND the found family dynamic is one of the best I’ve read. I was obsessed with Stacey and Dash in the previous books so getting to read their story felt unreal because of how much I was anticipating it. Sometimes that can make me nervous because I don’t want to be disappointed if a book doesn’t live up to expectations BUT S. Legend blows my expectations up every time because of how amazing these books are. There was humor like the rest of the books, but there was a more serious element that I wasn’t necessarily expecting and loved the layer that added to the relationship dynamic between Stacey and Dash throughout the seven years they have known each other in this book. I could go on and on about these two but don’t want to give too much away since I do believe these need to be read in order. But please read this book or start at book 1 if you haven’t checked this series out yet.
