This was not as intriguing and exciting as the first book, unfortunately, though things were hella more intense for Hazel for a moment there. The chemistry between her and the love interest in this book fell a little flat despite it being wonderful in the first one. I still enjoyed reading it and there was a queer side couple that were a pleasant surprise.
