This was such a sweet and beautiful story. The illustrations, the usage of fairy tales, and the mix of Asian and Western cultures was wonderful. I especially enjoyed reading the author’s notes on illustration style and fairy tale choices at the very end of the graphic novel.
I read this on my Kobo, so unfortunately I read it in black and white, but I think I’ll probably end up reading it again later with a physical copy so I can see everything in all its glory.
