The Neverending Story by Michael Ende
4.0

A book that I would have loved in my youth. A fantasy story that serves as an introduction to metafiction for the young and passionate reader. A tale of adventure that is at its heart about the pleasure and magic of reading. A book that shows that books themselves are not merely books but portals to worlds that speak across distances and within ourselves, which shows that literature is transformative while at the same time reinforces a confidence in what we are with no need for change.
