This series has my heart!!!!
I loved River in Loving Romeo, but now I somehow love him even more. He’s a wounded character, he holds grudges, but he loves even harder. Getting to see him slowly lower his walls was perfect. Ruby is perfect for him and you can’t tell me otherwise.
Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, where do I begin? I love her, that’s all. Just kidding, I wanna say, she’s such a strong character. She had every reason to leave this town… to start anew but she stayed. Yes, she has family there but she didn’t have to stay. Her heart is kind though she’s moody, so again her and River are perfect. Plus, their banter!!! I was obsessed.
Also… Ruby brought out Rivers inner golden retriever and I loved every second of it!!!!!!! I loved every second of them!
“But when River took care of me, it never felt like that. It never felt like he didn’t think that I could take care of myself. It felt like he wanted to worship me, care for me—not because I couldn’t do it for myself, but because he just wanted the opportunity to do it, too.”
Ruby and River deserve all the happiness in the world, and I’m glad they found it with each other!!
