Greek mythology meets 'Gossip Girl' in this graphic novel centering on Persephone, the Goddess of Spring. Persephone is a young Goddess, who is recently allowed to travel to Olympus, away from her overprotective mother, Demeter.

The graphic novel not only has a pretty cover, it has dynamic characters and an interesting plot. The witty banter of Zeus and his brothers is welcomed as this book includes heavy subject matter. My only complaint is that the illustrations are a bit dark. I used the flashlight on my phone to see them better, during the day.

I recommend this graphic novel to romance readers and those who enjoy Greek mythology retellings.
