I'd read a later book in this series a year or two ago, without realizing it was a part of a larger series. These are books set in the same Vermont setting, written by different authors. They seem to be all stand alone books, though, which is how I managed to read and enjoy a midseries title without realizing I was midseries.
Anyway, this was a fine story. I love a story about a bookstore. It was slightly self-refrential to have characters talk about how great LGBTQ+ romance novels are--listen, you're preaching to the choir--but the characters were likable and the story moved fast. A nice relaxing fun quick read.
