4.5 stars. This one has a higher rating but I honestly preferred Fluids more. That story had a lot more bite to it that just worked better for me. This one was great as well don’t get me wrong and I probably would’ve liked it more if it had been the first book by Leitz that I read. I digress, I’m officially a May Leitz fangirl and I need more fucked up and disturbing stories from them pronto. The writing is so good, the characters are extremely flawed and I don’t think you’re suppose to root for them but I do anyways and the plots are so fucked up and grim. I can’t get enough. Angie and Caro trauma bonded like a motherfucker in this book and it was easy to see how after all they’d been through together. They’re such badass women and their journey was a rollercoaster. I was so happy with the ending that they got because damn did they deserve some peace. Another banger from this author and now I sit and wait patiently for their next release because I need it like right now.
