Ok I’ll try and keep this constructive.
First problem is that this is wayyyy too wordy. Chapters are unnecessarily long and make it hard to follow.
There are proofreading issues in here… I found at least two moments when the content doesn’t make any sense (probs due to changing quotes while editing but these were fixed). But it massively took me out of the book.
Damian is incredibly unlikable. His F-boy personality is strong. Making a sex bet and then not feeling guilty is a hard thing to come back from. Saving your father in your phone as Mien Fuhrer which is wow ok.
But he never calls Lexi by her name, except for I think three? times in the book. Even when he realises he likes her it’s still blondie… Wtf!!?? Especially since the whole book starts with him not knowing who she is…
I honestly do not know if I Lexi or not because my dislike for Damian was strong that I could understand how any one could like him.
Also not having friends… is a red flag. That was werid.
I also found the constant Twilight comment confusing. I love Twilight but did we need to reference it every other page?!?
I hope this find the right audience but it’s not me.
Thanks for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Note to self: I should have DNF at 40% I gained nothing from having finished it
