I chose this book due to the beautiful cover, but the story ended up being just as beautiful. This book takes you on an emotional journey of connection, healing and second chances. The story follows a now-adult woman searching for her missing mother, discovering many secrets along the way. I enjoyed the themes of growth, forgiveness and new beginnings throughout. This story stayed with me long after I finished.
