The 120 Days of Sodom by Marquis de Sade
1.0
This book is so bad in terms of disgusting pervertion that I wish neuroscience will find a way to delete certain memories during my lifespan. I have read the book after watching the film adaptation by Pier Paolo Pasolini and well I didn't find it that much disturbing, as it was not including every kind of r@pe or torture in combination with r@pe and necrophilia or whatever else kind of paraphilia described here. For the shake of? Being provocative, expanding the ethics of humanity?
I have read somewhere that the original manuscript was found in a wall of Bastille where Marquis was imprisoned (for the wrong reason and not for being criminaly perverted but anyway who am I to judge ; judging anyway). It should have remained in the wall probably.
I can't believe that this text, representing the potential of true human pervertion, exists. Thinking in an aphorism "art and life imitate each other" then certainly these things happening here should have a real life experience background...
