The sequel to Altered Carbon and second installment of the Takeshi Kovac trilogy.
Not really 100% sure what I was expecting going into this one but it was an entirely different novel than the first and not in a bad way. Altered Carbon is definitely a hardboiled cyberpunk noir, whereas this was definitely a military sci-fi/ space opera.
