Oh dear lord
This book is amazing, one of the most beautifully written books I’ve ever read. This book approaches very serious topics to the point that I something’s thought it was unnecessarily harsh and gruesome. However, after finishing the book I would not have taken out a single sentence. Reading the last chapter made the book worth every word. The closing chapter left me sobbing because the book was able to prove how much knowing the narrative changes an ending.
Spoilers:
I think the way that this book discusses suicide and self harm could reframe how many people think about it. The sentence in which Harold states he always knew how Jude was going to die, really affected me.
