It takes real skill to make the everlasting life of an immortal goddess seem fascinating, fast-paced, and flawed. Circe IS the jaded witch of the Odyssey, and she is so much more. This book has a star-studded cast of Greek players, including Hermes, Daedalus, and the Minotaur. I am so glad that I read this book. In its pages, I experienced every emotion. I would recommend it to anyone, and I'd pay an obscene amount of money to be able to read it again for the first time.
