I wont lie. This series gave me life. The heroine wasn't some dumb chick who needed to be "rescued". Of course, the couple meets and they need each other, but she isn't some helpless heroine. That in itself made me want to read it. I was very pleased with the flow of the 3rd novel. I felt there were more details and clarity in the the world of the Scribes and Irina. I kept finding myself wanting to read the book when I had other things going on. Out shopping or watching tv, I kept thinking "I wonder what will happen with Ava and Malachi. I recommend this series if you love a strong female lead, perfectly protective (not toooo much) men who want nothing more to the surrounded by strong and powerful women, and a pretty interesting plot line to boot. Once again, Elizabeth Hunter sucks me into her world of fast paced action and whirlwind love. Glad to see there will be more in this series
