So....this book. I was so looking forward to it but it just didn't quite have what I was looking for. I think a large problem with that could be due to the fact that I don't think this is a duology like I originally thought. So I went into it with "ending book" expectations. Second book syndrome is a thing and this book has it. A lost of loose ends that the next book(s) will indeed tie together. ⁠

I'll absolutely continue the series as it comes out. I think it was a "me" issue anyway.⁠
