I wanted so badly to like this book. It was very "clinical" and documented heavy. I found it very hard to follow. The characters were constantly reading research or trials or clinical studies, and it made it so "cold." It made it hard to make a connection with the characters. Also, the transitions to past and present from the characters' points of view were also confusing.   I didn't guess the twist. I also didn't care for it.
