The premise was fine and the conflict/relationship was more or less believable. The main character’s attitude of not being good enough while doing the most was grating by the end. And the “when you know you know” mentality felt overdone by the end as well, with every couple being so incredibly in love that they just knew at first glance they’d found the one. Not a bad book but not gonna reread.
