I wanted to love this one so much. A lot of the plot felt predictable, but because The Big Reveal doesn’t happen until about 200 pages in, I found myself skimming ahead to confirm. Some of the side characters felt one-dimensional or the situations (her shop’s overnight success?!) too contrived.
