This is a deeply satisfying and remarkable entry in the Whyborne & Griffin. Interesting new characters! Remarkable growth from the primary and returning cast! Well-written action packed scenes! New monsters! Much world-building and ratcheting up the stakes! Emotional emotions! It left me kicking my heels, ready to read the final two books.
