As with the rest of this series, I really loved this book. It might even be my favourite so far, which is funny because I was struggling to like Isiah for the first half of the last book. But, wow, this got me. The end had me tearing up in the cafe I was reading in - any time a group of people come together to protect one person, it makes me start sobbing. And it was just done so well, and was so lovely!
I could read a thousand more of these books, I swear. They’re all so well written - the writing itself is excellent, and then the stories… the men are never too controlling, the women are never too weak. And no one ever loses out on their dreams to end up in a relationship. The found family in this series is so excellent, and I love how much of the other characters we still see even though they’re not the focus of this book.
For once, I don’t have much to say on the book– but I did really enjoy it and would definitely recommend it.
