I almost certainly got this for free and it was an engaging read. There are definitely some tropes, but I liked seeing a super nerd female protagonist (hence the 20 sided reference) in a different 'hidden magic' setting. There were definitely some plot points I hadn't seen before, which is impressive given how much genre I read. Not convinced I'll pick up the next book, but this had solid resolution for a standalone.
