funny lighthearted fast-paced

4.5

An adorable representation of at-home life, especially relevant as work-from-home continues through the pandemic. The young protagonist begins with just a minor transgression, then the invasion of daddy's office gets wilder and ever more jubilant until... she abruptly remembers that she shouldn't be in there. But daddy needed a break too, and I think for anyone who has been shut-in to any degree, his chosen method has a lot of merit.

The illustrations reflect the joy and abandon of the story, and the pacing is on point.

I love the dynamic between dad and daughter.
