The Library of Shadows by Rachel Moore
4.0

This follows Este, a girl who enrolls in one of the lost haunted schools in the country to find out more about how her father died. As she learns about the secrets of the school and all the students who have gone missing, Este catches the attention of the wrong ghosts.

I loved the concept and whole vibe of this book. Anything set in a library with ghosts I think I will automatically enjoy. I liked how Este went into everything being skeptical but eventually became friends with a lot of the ghots. The plot and mystery behind the existence of the ghosts was interesting and well developed. I do still have some questions after finishing the book though so I feel like a few things could have been explained a bit better. I really appreciated that this was a stand alone too! There's not enough standalone fantasy books and I really like having a whole wrapped up story in one book. I liked Este and Mateo a lot - they worked together well to solve the mystery and the romance developed in a really natural way.
