This was a bit of a mixed bag for me personally but in the end it averaged out to a middle of the road experience. I'll continue the series by borrowing the last 2 books from my library instead of wasting more money or audible tokens. There were parts I did enjoy and found interesting but sadly the hopes I had for this series to be a new favourite did not pan out in the first book. I really hope I will end up vibing more with the next two books.
Regardless it will not be a series I will reread and buy/add to my physical collection liked I hoped it would have been.
